Our Story

An experienced construction management and general contracting firm serving clients in the academic, corporate interiors, healthcare, landmark restoration and residential markets.

In 1998, Thomas Nickel helped form the company that would later evolve into T.G. Nickel & Associates. Becoming a strong force on Long Island, Nickel gained distinction for its technical expertise and collaborative team building approach—partnering with our clients to provide the right information at the right time to make informed decisions. Operations quickly expanded into New York City, where we developed creative solutions to the unique challenges of building in the Big Apple. Over the years, Nickel has grown to a staff of almost 200 professionals and has earned a reputation as a preeminent New York construction manager with the leadership, resources and flexibility to work on projects both large and small.

Nickel created a strategic partnership with Consigli Construction in 2013—a fourth generation, family-owned company that employs more than 700 professionals and has an annual volume of $1 billion—providing added technical and financial resources.
