Keyed In LLC

Shay Knaani is the Owner of Keyed In LLC, a private security company that specializes in professional locksmith services, surveillance cameras, access control, smart home systems, entry doors, security storm doors, window guards and garage doors. Shay founded Keyed In at the end of 2011. The company has steadily expanded and won the 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 Angie’s List Super Service Award.

Shay currently also serves as the Executive Officer of the American branch of Mynet Registration for Fairs and Events, Inc. He single-handedly opened the branch in Washington DC in August of 2009 and runs all programming and logistical operations for the company. 

Prior to opening Mynet USA, Shay served as Executive Systems Manager for Mynet Israel from 2007 to 2009. He acted as the company’s technological buyer, helped to develop a new model of registration software, and traveled across Europe and the USA to manage Mynet Israel’s abroad events and tailor registration solutions to the unique needs of varying companies. From 2005 to 2007, Shay served as program manager and worked in tandem with Israeli secret service to run high-security events for the Israeli government and managed registration for the largest hi-tech companies in the industry.

Shay has an Optical Weapons Certificate, Class ‘D’ (highest) for emergency field repair of electro-optic equipment, a B.A. in Management from The Open University of Israel, and an Associate’s Degree in Practical Electronics Engineering from Amal Bet College. At Amal Bet, Shay's final project was to build a quality control (QC) device for the Merkava4 tank’s electro-optic sight in order to display types of bullets during combat.
