Belt Built Contracting, LLC is an SBA 8(a) Certified Small Business General Contractor in the Mid Atlantic with over 40 years of combined construction and government contracting experience in both public and private sectors.

Since 2010, Belt Built Contracting, a minority owned company, has been providing the Mid Atlantic area with superior construction services focusing primarily on federal construction projects, including Federal Government Task Order Contracts, IDIQ, JOC, MACC, MATOC, SABRE and SATOC construction contracts, as well as sole source contracts.

Representative clients include the Navy (NAVFAC), the Army Corp of Engineers (USACE), the General Services Administration (GSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Government Accountability Office (GAO), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Smithsonian Institution.

In addition, Joseph Belt, as Managing Partner, has taken a lead in providing residential construction services, focusing primarily on Tenant Fit Outs, Residential Remodels, and Modular Building Construction.

Quality control and safety are paramount to the company.  Project Managers and Field Supervisors have extensive training with the latest Project Scheduling Tools, certifications that include Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Construction Quality Management for Contractors, OSHA-30 Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training Program, EM-385 Certifications and American Red Cross Adult CPR & AED and First AID Training.  Our emphasis on safety is evident in the Experience Modification Rating that the company maintains.

With offices in Maryland and in Texas, the company is actively expanding into new markets.  An integral part of our expansion is the formation of joint ventures in new geographic territories.
Belt Built currently has a bonding capacity of $25 million Aggregate and $8 million Individual. The company is poised for continued expansion in the federal and commercial arenas.
