Gabriel Gavriilidis's Bio
Co-founder of GCON, Gabe has more than 18 years experience in the construction industry. After receiving his degree in Construction Management from Arizona State University, Gabe worked as project manager for Target General and Core Construction Services of Arizona. Having managed construction in the educational, retail, corporate office and automotive sectors ranging up to $15 million, he has a broad knowledge base that has allowed him to tackle many diverse projects.
As co-founder of GCON Inc., Gabe has played a pivotal role in promoting the company’s rapid growth and widespread reputation for superior customer service and efficient project delivery. Devoted to the continual advancement of his skill set as a corporate leader, Gabe is a member of the 2010 Leadership Development Forum (LDF). LDF is a nationally recognized management training program developed by the Arizona Builders Alliance. Involvement in this program allows Gabe to remain actively involved in the local community. He, along with GCON, routinely works with and sponsors charitable events and programs.
Mick Marden's Bio
Mick has been involved in successful projects with construction budgets of over $50,000,000. He enjoys early involvement in preconstruction continuing through project completion, and holds broad experience in various project types including: tenant improvement, restaurants, retail, office, multifamily, luxury condominiums, clubhouse, hotel/resort, medical & custom homes.
With 20+ years of experience in the construction industry, Mick has acquired extensive knowledge of the construction process, occupying various roles from Project Principal to Project Superintendent. He excels as a communicator, often acting as a liaison between employees, subcontractors, design team, and owner’s representatives. Mick has recently been focused on design assist and preconstruction of various projects while also creating highly crafted environments for many of the Southwest’s most notable restaurant and hospitality clientele.
Mike Godbehere's Bio
As President and Co-founder of GCON Inc., Mike has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. His interest in construction started at an early age working alongside his father who was a union plumber. He spent many years with him in the field and was drawn to the challenge of construction and the satisfaction of seeing the fruits of your labor each day. A third generation Arizona native, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Arizona State University. Prior to GCON, he served in various management positions for Intel Corporation including Project Manager where he was in charge of projects in excess of $500 million. His last position with Intel was as Americas Sourcing Manager, where he was responsible for all US and South America based construction contracts. With nearly a decade of invaluable experience and significant accomplishments at Intel, Mike was motivated to create his own legacy in construction and with long-time friend and industry colleague, Gabe Gavriliidis, the pair co-founded GCON, Inc. and began providing construction services in the Valley in 2002.
As the GCON visionary, Mike leads his team to continuously PLAN, BUILD and DELIVER all projects as a true client advocate and partner. His philosophy to project success begins with clearly mapping out a path to build each project in an efficient and timely manner while exceeding client expectations. The success of this vision and philosophy has led to one of Mike’s biggest accomplishments – maintaining GCON’s reputation and profitability over the last 15 years. Today, The firm is one of the West Valley’s fastest growing contractors due to its reputation for superior customer service and efficient project delivery. In addition, GCON is consistently ranked as one of the top ten commercial construction companies in Ranking Arizona by its clients and industry colleagues. Mike attributes the amazing success and continued growth to the commitment and dedication of his team that exhibit his vision and mission every day.
Tiffany Fisher's Bio
Ms. Fisher has been in the construction industry for over 30 years having spent most of those years providing construction services to Arizona’s Public Works entities. She has extensive experience providing Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), Construction Management (CM) and Job Order Contracting (JOC) for multiple school districts across the Valley.
Tiffany is known by her clients for her collaborative efforts on making sure goals and objectives are identified early so that she can provide the best options for quality and cost effective solutions. Throughout the process, she works with the project team to identify any possible constraints before they could adversely impact the project in quality, cost and schedule. Her extensive knowledge and proactive approach will be invaluable to your project.
