Scope Of Work

The scope of this project was to provide and install a new sound and video system in a church that was built in the late 1800s. We were contacted by the pastor and a few members of the church board of directors to provide an updated system that would provide a bright image in any light conditions as well as a better sound to fill the space. Some of the requirements are as follows:

• Provide and install two 75" 4K HDTVs 
• Provide and install a new speaker system to fill the entire space since it was wide than it was deep
• Provide and install a new digital audio mixer with updated capabilities
• Provide and install a video switching device for future camera capabilities
• Provide and install new wireless microphone systems, and appropriate amplification and signal processing for the new speakers
• Re-locate the original projector and screen to the back of the sanctuary for use as a stage display.

There were typical challenges as you would have running wire in a finished building, but the biggest challenge was installing the TVs .The church wanted the TVs to the left and right of the center of the stage and above the doorways also. We were able to build framework in the pipe organ areas and install the TV mounting hardware through the speaker cloth and into the framework. The speaker cluster was laser aligned to cover the entire space with just 2 JBL Pro speakers. In the end our clients were completely satisfied and all their requests were met. Look for a video of the system in operation in our gallery.
