Brothers Consolidated Heating & A/C LLC

In April 2015, Bill and Dennis Hankins bought out Consolidated Heating and its inventory, making it a priority to retain Consolidated Heating’s loyal Southeastern Wisconsin customers with the same superior service. They knew it was a plus that Consolidated Heating had been a Carrier® dealer for more than 25 years—and that the brothers could continue to offer the same Carrier products, experienced employees, and responsive heating and cooling services. In fact, they kept the Consolidated Heating logo and simply added “Brothers” to the top.

Heating and cooling expertise runs in the family. Bill and Dennis’ father worked in the HVAC industry for 40 years. When the boys were old enough, they began working alongside their father on various jobs. After high school, they showed an aptitude and interest in the industry and worked at numerous HVAC companies over the years, until coming together to form their own shop—Brothers Consolidated Heating. Dennis has had just about every position in the heating and cooling business, from general manager to owner and everything in between. Bill worked in the industry as a wholesale inside engineer, working closely with the Carrier product line. When Consolidated Heating came up for purchase, both brothers jumped at the chance to take over ownership of the heating and cooling company.

Customers are surprised to find that the brothers are so hands-on. It’s not unusual for either brother to talk to customers before starting work on a furnace or air conditioning installation or repair—they want to hear about lifestyles, budgets, and what issues customers have with their systems in order to better solve the problem at hand. Their goal is to provide a solution that leads to healthier homes, happier families, and efficient heating and cooling—not just to sell a unit.
