Emerald City Cleaning

Initially started in 2001 by Guacolda Espinosa, Emerald City Cleaning was a sub contractor of John Buchan Homes in Bellevue WA.  The firm started off with post construction cleaning and punch lists for the GC and sub contractors.  The firm moved into residential house cleaning and office maintenance in 2003 and serviced the greater Seattle and Bellevue markets.  The firm joined Blue Book in 2009 and soon realized the benefits of the networking site.  The firm was rebranded and incorporated in 2013 as Emerald City Cleaning and headquartered next to the Space Needle on Denny Way.  Later in 2013 Emerald CIty Cleaning became the 1st IICRC certified cleaning firm in Seattle and Bellevue, later that year they also were accredited by the BBB and ARCSI for their accomplishments and protocol.  In  2017, Emerald City Cleaning was recognized as a WMBE firm by the state of WA, owned and operated by Guacolda Zinsmeyer, the firm employs 100% vetted staff, who all carry US legal worker status and undergo random drug testing, and OSHA 10 cards for all post construction cleaners.  

"The difference is in the details" is the company motto.  There are so many service companies and cleaning firms that we had to differentiate ourselves to stand out.  We have a small service area allowing us to be at our client's sites in minutes instead of hours.  We are headquartered right next to the space needle so our equipment and staff are never more than 20 minutes from our downtown customers.  All owners live on QA and are ever present at jobs, inspections, surveys, and estimates.  Additionally, our customer service team is equipped with the knowledge and problem solving to assist our customers with the most daunting of tasks.  Emerald City Cleaning also utilizes the latest in technology to assist their staff and customers with up to the minute, real time, data on their facility.  All of these details add up to make the difference between our firm and the others.  There are bigger firms, there are cheaper firms, but in Seattle, there is no better cleaning firm who cares about your business and your facility.

With commercial and residential teams, Emerald City Cleaning services many of the most iconic museums, animal parks, landmarks, theaters, corporations and homes in the greater Seattle area.  With growing capabilities like commercial Vapor Cleaning, Carpet Cleaning, Window Cleaning, Tile & Grout Cleaning, and Post Construction Cleaning or Final Cleaning, we are able to offer our clients a full-service janitorial contract that incorporates all of our services into one package/agreement.  Our teams are GPS tracked and our clients have the option to pay based on a set service fee, or by the hour, for their monthly and annual contracts.  Our extensive array of services enables us to go beyond the standard janitorial services, and offer a full-service maintenance program.
