Coal Creek Excavation, Inc.

Bill and a former partner started Coal Creek Excavation in 2013 with one contract to restore access to a private residence where the bridge was destroyed by the devastating floods of that year.  Since then Bill has led the company's growth from three total employees to thirty with the capability of performing $10M of civil based work inclusive of site development, mass grading, drainage and utility installation, single span bridge construction, abutment and minor concrete structure installation, custom and unique hardscape and landscape work, textured shotcrete slope and rock bolt installation.  In his off time Bill enjoys golfing in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.  

Ed is a 3rd generation construction professional who grew up in the construction management industry.  He holds a Bachelor degree from the University of Wisconsin along with an Associates degree from Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs.  Ed has worked his way up the ranks from Project Engineer to Superintendent to Senior Project Manager with a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from large multifamily developments, high end luxury custom homes, commercial developments and healthcare construction.  He leads the project management team along with operations to secure all aspects of the financial wellbeing of projects from conceptional design to final delivery.

Michael’s is well rounded with many natural abilities, a good business aptitude and a client based approach which has allowed him to quickly climb the ranks from operator to foreman to civil superintendent at companies like Kiewit & Ames to now C.O.O. and minority owner in Coal Creek in a short period of time. Michael learned a strong work ethic working on drill rigs for years in Alaska starting in his late teenage years.  Michael is great at managing people and motivating people to think and perform.  He projects positive energy with everything he does.
