St. Clair Construction Company

St. Clair Construction Company is a Michigan-based general contracting company incorporated in 1992, still owned and managed by the founding family. It was started to assist American Community Developers, its sister company, in the rehabilitation of affordable housing units. Since its founding in 1992, St. Clair Construction has built more than 10,000 housing units for American Community Developers and other clients.

Since 1992, St. Clair Construction has gained experience in high-rise and mid-rise apartments, and developed a comprehensive team of professionals, contractors and suppliers to assist its construction efforts. It has also learned to comply with the complexities of prevailing wage requirements, HUD Section 3 requirements, LEED and other environmental standards, state agency requirements, and lead-based paint and asbestos handling requirements. It has established programs and procedures to handle each unique project quickly and efficiently. St. Clair Construction has also established lines of credit with major suppliers and Comerica Bank for its construction needs.
