We are a team of 6 lead craftsmen, which boast over 125 cumulative years with Hoover, and guide more than 40 employees in not only making the highest quality products but offering the best customer service.

Established in 1949 near downtown Ft. Lauderdale, Florida by Mr. Henry Hoover, Hoover Awning quickly gained ground as the leading fabric awning manufacturer for Broward County. After many years of unwavering quality and impeccable service, Mr. Hoover sold Hoover Awning to Thomas Carroll in 1979. Thomas Carroll (a 3rd generation awning craftsman), who already had an established reputation & proven track record in the awning industry was a quick study to the challenges of the South Florida climate. With the addition of his nephew James Carroll in the early 80’s, who himself was a 4th generation craftsman & Master Fabric Craftsman (IFAI MFC), Hoover methodically grew in size, experience and products. In 1995, Hoover expanded into West Palm Beach Florida and added 20,000 square feet of manufacturing power.   Today, Hoover is led by James and his son Matthew Carroll, a 5th generation awning craftsman, Certified Building Contractor & Awning Specialty Contractor (CBC & CC). By employing the very best craftsmen, high-tech machinery and quality processes, Hoover is paving the way for the custom fabrication and awning industry by diversifying into new products and services.

When Mr. Hoover established Hoover in 1949, he set forth a tradition of community involvement, industry leading quality and unmatched customer service. More than 60 years later, Hoover Awning employees continue this tradition and commitment.   Over the years, Hoover has adapted by incorporating the best technology and manufacturing processes.
