Our Story

Remus Architecture offers a wide range of design and planning services for New Building Projects, Building Renovations and Rehabilitation, and Historic Restoration.  Our efforts on behalf of our clientele may range from extensive involvement with a small individual site or building, to larger scale campuses, communities or districts comprised of multiple buildings and mixed uses.  Each project was evaluated with the design philosophy of Remus Architecture incorporated into the process.  Central to our design philosophy is

“Our steadfast commitment to carefully consider all of individual aspects of a project’s existing and proposed natural and man-made environment”

It is this commitment that enables Remus Architecture to provide an added dimension of proven design, planning expertise, and unique problem solving abilities that result in the successful completion of projects that are aesthetically pleasing, functionally efficient, and cost-effective. We at Remus Architecture work as a team to produce a satisfied clientele by working in conjunction with our clients in order to procure a professional relationship.

To achieve practical design and workable planning solutions, we are able to draw upon our vast experience, our broad range of skills, and our comprehensive knowledge of the professional disciplines of Architecture, Renovation, Planning, Urban Design, Engineering, Construction Economics, City and Regional Planning, and Interior Design.  Remus Architecture provides design and planning expertise in Architecture, Land Planning and Renovation.

 

 

History


Located in Collingswood, the History of Remus Architecture begins with Paul D. Remus, an architect registered in ten states: Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.  Mr. Remus is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) to practice architecture in these states.

Remus Architecture has staff members that have come to the firm with many attributes and experiences.  Each member with their special contributions collectively brings the firm a well-rounded and diversified knowledge base that allows us to meet and exceed project requirements in order to create a satisfied clientele.

Previously named RM Architecture, the Firm's Experience includes over three decades of client relations and design.  Mr. Remus has provided services for a diverse range of clients.  In order to create a satisfied clientele, each client and their specific project requirements were all custom tailored.

Location


Our main office is located at our Collingswood, NJ location.  All of our work is performed at this location.  There are two Principals, Paul Remus and Bob Zmijewski, an Office Manager, a Senior Project Manager and three Project Managers for a total of seven personnel.

 

 

Assurances


Through experience from our recently completed Pre-Fabricated / New Construction projects outside of the Northeast region, we were able to refine our project approach in a more efficient and economical matter.

Our firm has a history of complying with the insurance coverage on any given project and is not currently, now was ever, in violations of any regulatory rules.

Ongoing internal investigations are conducted in order to find any potential conflicts of interest our firm may encounter with past, current, or future projects.
