The longevity of a fluorescent lamp is directly dependent on the components the lamp is constructed with.  Kolortech lamps are manufacured using the highest quality materials in the industry.  Our lamps are put through rigorous testing to ensure our customers a superior product on a consistent basis.

SEEING IS BELIEVING

The cathode is a vital component of a Fluorescent lamp.  As the lamp is being used, the cathode breaks down.  A typical cathode is made of tungsten that is coiled two times resulting in the almost horizontal suspension between the supporting posts.  Kolortech fluorescent lamp cathodes are coiled three times resulting in the spiral-like suspension between the posts.  The reason for this is simple.  We put more cathode material in our lamps.  Since there is more material, it takes longer for the cathode to break down.
