Established in 1928, C. Raymond Davis & Sons, Inc. (CRD) is a family-owned and operated construction manager and custom builder specializing in institutional, commercial, and high-end custom home construction. CRD is headquartered in Kimberton, PA, with branch offices located in Princeton, NJ, and Bolton Landing, NY.

Over the last 90 years our firm has built a reputation for delivering impeccable results, demonstrated in an extensive portfolio of award-winning projects that includes retirement communities, private schools, religious institutions, commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, and high-end custom homes. 

Initially, our founder, C. Raymond Davis, focused his efforts on renovations, additions and new home construction. As time went on, the company's focus began to shift from home building to institutional and commercial construction—a move that would alter the course of the company and change the landscape of the Delaware Valley. Upon graduation from Lehigh University as a Civil Engineer, C. Raymond's son, T. Raymond, became the foreman of earthwork operations for this father's company. While continuing its success in commercial and institutional construction, T. Raymond Davis's interest in heavy equipment and highway and site development led the company to form a sister company, Devault Contracting, which he began in 1954 and led for 40 years. Devault was responsible for the site development for some notable projects in the Greater Delaware area including: One Liberty Place, Veteran's Stadium and Penn's Landing. In the early eighties, after graduating from The King's College in New York City, Kyle Davis joined his father, T. Raymond Davis, and later went on to become the company's Chief Financial Officer. In 2016, Kyle began serving as Chief Executive Officer.
