Our Story

KES Electrical was founded in 2005 by US Navy Veteran, Erik Kadon. Erik served as an Electricians Mate aboard the USS Dubuque LPD-8 and it was during this time at sea that he realized the importance of energy conservation. While aboard ship, he observed many restrictions to energy usage that could force dangerous complications if such vital equipment might fail.

After his service in the Navy, Erik returned to his home town of Cincinnati, Ohio and has spent his time pursuing efficient energy management through KES Electrical. We have taken this passionate mentality and consistently apply it to the facilities of clients we service while helping them maintain daily operations.

Starting as an electrical contractor in the banking, restaurant, and the office industries; KES Electrical found that their clients could significantly reduce their energy usage by installing efficient lighting, power factor correction systems, and maintaining close control of their electrical systems. We also install solar electric systems–namely, “Photovoltaic”–in commercial and residential facilities as well as for grid-tied and off-grid battery systems.

We believe in optimizing the current electrical systems of our client’s facilities before installing a renewable energy system. This ensures our clients a quick return on investment and can significantly reduce the size and cost of a renewable energy system.

At KES Electrical, we are dedicated to the satisfaction of our clients and are eager to provide real and efficient energy solutions that will aid the growth of your business for years to come.
