Chris manages all facets of the business with a focus on C.E. Floyd’s vision and long-term strategic planning. He brings a dynamic blend of construction and business experience to his work in culture creation, continuous improvement, client and employee engagement and market analysis. Chris is passionate about C.E. Floyd’s role in helping clients and people build their vision. He began his career at John Moriarty and Associates, then joined C.E. Floyd in 2003 after receiving his MBA from Babson College. Chris gained experience in every department of the company before becoming President and CEO in 2015. Chris is an active member of YPO, the premier leadership organization to harness the knowledge influence and trust of the world’s most influential and innovative business leaders.

Chuck Floyd is responsible for corporate governance. Chuck founded C.E. Floyd Company in 1989. He built the company around employees who wanted to actively make a difference and would contribute to improving the business and going the extra mile to meet the needs of the customer each and every time. Norm Fournier serves in an advisory role to C.E. Floyd Company. He participates in quarterly strategic planning and guides our quality control program and preconstruction efforts. He joined the company in 1991 to manage the most complicated projects and to provide leadership and mentoring to the growing staff. Norm studied biology and chemistry in college before turning to a career in construction. It’s no wonder that he loves a good challenge and thinking outside of the box to create a plan to tackle it.

Mark Beckler oversees the estimating department, which may be an owner’s first contact with C.E. Floyd Company. As such, we count on him and his team to set the “service” tone and show owners that we’re easy to work with. Mark is responsible for setting a project up for success with accurate budgeting from concept through contract. He’s a numbers guy with a great vision of how a project will come together. Mark originally planned to go to med school but instead became a stockbroker before turning to construction. He joined the company in 2004.

Bob Willard is a key resource for our field staff in Massachusetts. He monitors the C.E. Floyd field Core Processes, is active in preconstruction planning, helps to oversee risk management on the project and is an additional safety ambassador for our staff. Bob is also a key champion of our Lean Construction Program. He was one of C.E. Floyd’s first employees, joining the company in 1989. He supervised our largest projects before becoming Field Operations Manager.

Chuck Tobin sets a clear strategic plan, ensures the company is adhering to it and communicates it throughout the company. He brings proven leadership and experience to his oversight of the company’s operations, estimating, marketing, and business development departments. After successfully managing several of the company’s largest projects, Chuck relocated to Connecticut in 2006 to open our Middletown office, which he grew to reach parity with our Massachusetts location and where he developed a strong team. He’s grateful that he can have a positive impact on both people’s professional goals and project goals. He has been with the company for more than 25 years and is a member of LeadingAge CT, AIA CT and CT ABC. He also volunteers at the Durham Fair.

Jeff Palmer oversees our Connecticut operations. He sets and communicates the expectations for the CT project teams, as well as promotes the company’s safety culture. He is also responsible for managing risk and project profitability. Jeff joined C.E. Floyd after college and has been with the company for almost 20 years. He likes seeing the determination, collaboration, and hard work of a team bring a well laid plan to fruition. This team focus no doubt comes from years of competitive wrestling, including at the NCAA level.

Kevin Boyle is a key resource for our field staff in Connecticut. He monitors the C.E. Floyd field Core Processes, is active in preconstruction planning, helps to oversee risk management on the project and is an additional safety ambassador for our staff. Kevin, who joined C.E. Floyd in 2009, likes contributing to each project team and mentoring the younger people in the company. He’s a member of the AIA, volunteers with the Lions Club and serves as Vice Chairman of his town’s Planning and Zoning Commission.

Pete Doucet oversees our Massachusetts operations. He sets and communicates the expectations for the MA project teams, as well as promotes the company’s safety culture. He is also responsible for managing risk and project profitability. Pete started at C.E. Floyd right out of college and was here for 11 years as a project engineer, assistant superintendent and superintendent. He briefly left to work at another Boston contractor, where he was a superintendent on two large projects in Boston, before returning to C.E. Floyd in a project management role. The characteristics that made Pete an All American collegiate wrestler are the same ones that help him excel here: determination to do his best and laser-like focus. Pete is also a key champion of our Lean Construction Program.

Catie McMenamin creates, manages and executes the marketing plan as it aligns with the company’s brand and strategic plan. Staying on top of the latest trends in both construction and marketing fulfills her passion of lifelong learning. She’s been with C.E. Floyd for more than 15 years and is a member of SMPS and AMA.

Ray Caruso builds new relationships and trusting partnerships to create opportunities for the Massachusetts office. He’s been with C.E. Floyd Company for over 15 years and has more than 40 years of experience in commercial development and construction. Ray is a past president of the Massachusetts/Rhode Island ABC and Carolinas ABC and was recently named an ABC Legend for his contribution to the association. He also served as a Navy Seabee.

Diana Hasan is responsible for building the team, employee relations, coaching, benefits management  organizational development. She’s been with C.E. Floyd for over 10 years  is currently the Chair of the ABC MA HR committee  Co-Chair of the AGC Mass HR committee. She is also serving a one-year term on the ABC MA Board of Directors. 

Tom Stanton provides field support for safety requirements and supports a culture of safety throughout the company through training and visibility. He’s been working in construction safety for over 15 years and has worked directly for contractors and as a risk manager for insurance companies focused on construction safety. Tom enjoys visiting all the project sites and getting to see how the different teams interact.
