Scope Of Work
Industrial Facility built on slab floor - scope included expanding restroom to include new shower, new commercial laminate flooring throughout the office space, creating an office by closing a hallway to create a new locker room, renovating a conference room and amending the drop ceiling grids.
1) Biggest challenge was changing county requirements for design/build of the expanded restroom which included new ADA requirements due to "modification" of existing.
2) Customer changed flooring, shower, vanity and urinal requirements during project. Handyman Matters was able to issue change orders, return materials purchased and provide new materials to meet new expectations.
The existing restroom included a toilet and sink. After expanding the restroom into an unused portion of the facility, we added two stalls, an ADA shower, and an ADA vanity with new lighting, exhaust fan, and new flooring along with new accessories. All plumbing was upgraded through the slab floor.
All areas in scope included new drywall, painting, flooring. This project took 4 months however two of the months were use to design and redesign the restroom to meet ADA and county requirements.
