Scope Of Work
Scope - Site Rep/Project Manager for Plant Shutdown, Removal of Assets and Clean up of site. The process took a year to complete everything except environmental clean up. All equipment and capital items were evaluated for re-use at another site. Data was collected and lists with pictures and information on type and condition of each asset. Crews removed equipment and prepared for shipment to other plants in the US and Canada. Initially, there were 4-5 semi loads being sent out 4 days a week. Demolition of furnaces, forming machines and other equipment not being re-purposed. All packaging, shipping and tracking were also the responsibility of FMC. An estimated 300 loads left the site, not including scrap and waste that was removed almost daily. Structural integrity was maintained after equipment was removed.
