Dave Menke's Bio
As President and CEO, Dave provides executive leadership and sets
overall strategy for Opus Development Company, L.L.C. across its
platform. His responsibilities include directional oversight and
leadership of Opus’ development teams as well as its capital markets group.
Dave has over 30 years of real estate development, finance and
brokerage experience, covering office, industrial, multifamily, retail
and senior sectors. He joined Opus in 1995.
Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University
of Minnesota. He is a board member for the Minneapolis Downtown
Council and served on the board of directors of NAIOP Minnesota. Dave
is also a member of Urban Land Institute and the Minnesota Commercial
Association of Realtors.
Dean Newins's Bio
As President & CEO, Dean provides executive leadership to the
company’s architects, engineers and interior designers. He is
responsible for finances and overall operations. Dean, along with
company leaders, manages all phases of the design process from design
development through construction administration. He also provides
design leadership on entitlement efforts for projects during the early stages.
Dean has worked on and led many projects in the office,
multifamily, industrial and institutional sectors. His experience
includes the programming and feasibility of large, urban, mixed-use
projects. These experiences come to bear on each new project that is
undertaken by the Opus team. The lessons learned on each project are
brought forward to help shape each and every new project the team undertakes.
Opus has been a leader in employing a sustainable approach to architecture and the built environment. Dean has been an integral part of this important strategy, designing and constructing in excess of 1 million square feet of USGBC LEED Certified commercial and institutional projects. Dean is the executive leader for the Opus Green Team, the group that champions the Opus sustainable platform.
He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the New York Institute. Dean is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Minnesota Society of the American Institute of Architects and the U.S. Green Building Council.
Dennis Power's Bio
As Chief Financial Officer of Opus Holding, L.L.C., Dennis provides
leadership and direction for accounting, treasury, financial planning
and analysis and information technology for all companies within The
Opus Group. He also provides guidance on strategic planning efforts
and our approach to debt and equity capital.
Prior to joining Opus in 1997, Dennis was a manager with
Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he served audit clients primarily in
the real estate and construction industry.
Dennis holds a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from St. Mary’s
University and a Real Estate Executive Certificate from the University
of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs
and NAIOP, the commercial real estate development association.
Kelli M. Justesen's Bio
As Chief Human Resources Officer, Kelli is responsible for overseeing
and directing the human resources department and organization
activities that create and support an environment focused on engaging
and inspiring our workforce. Her duties include recruitment and
staffing; performance management and improvement; organization
development; employment and regulatory compliance; associate
onboarding, development, and training; policy development and
documentation; associate relations; associate communication;
compensation and benefits administration. Additionally, Kelli supports
facilities related activities and management of front desk and office
support associates.
Kelli joined Opus in 2011. Her experience includes the
development, implementation and coordination of Human Resource
activities including workforce planning, performance monitoring,
reward and recognition, benefits, personnel policies, regulatory
compliance and employee training and development.
Kelli holds a Master of Business Administration from the
University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Arts in biology from
Gustavus Adolphus College. She is a member of the Society for Human
Resources Management and HRconnection®.
Larry Pobuda's Bio
Larry is responsible for the leadership and overall management of the western markets, including Phoenix, Denver and Austin. His primary responsibilities are the pursuit of real estate development opportunities in various sectors, including office, industrial and multifamily, as well as defining the office’s daily strategies and future growth plans.
Larry brings 30 years of real estate experience to Opus. His experience includes development, investment, tenant representation and serving as a landlord on various commercial properties.
Larry holds a Master of Business Administration in marketing and finance from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University. He is on the board of directors for Downtown Tempe Authority and is a member of Greater Phoenix Leadership (GPL). Additionally, Larry is a member of NAIOP, the commercial real estate development association, and the NAIOP Research Foundation.
Linda Gonzales's Bio
As Chief Information Officer, Linda focuses on strategically partnering with internal customers to identify and implement technologies that enable The Opus Group to achieve its overall strategic objectives and help Associates be more efficient and effective in performing their work.
Linda has over 23 years of experience in information technology. She has grown the IT group to support the ongoing new technologies Opus is putting in place.
Linda attended the University of Nevada, Reno, studying management information systems and the Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
Tim Murnane's Bio
As President and CEO of Opus Holding, L.L.C., Tim oversees all
operations of the operating companies collectively known as The Opus
Group. These operating companies are Opus Development Company, L.L.C.,
Opus Design Build, L.L.C. and Opus AE Group, L.L.C.
Tim brings over 41 years of experience in commercial real
estate development and has developed more than 30 million square feet
of office, industrial and retail projects.
Tim is an alumnus of the University of St. Thomas.? He is a
board member for the University of St. Thomas Real Estate Program, the
Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Minnesota Business Partnership and St.
Thomas Academy. Additionally, he is a past president and board member
of NAIOP, the commercial real estate development association, and
former board member of the MN Chamber of Commerce, Twin Cities RISE!
and the Minneapolis Downtown Council.
Tom Becker's Bio
As President and CEO of Opus Design Build, L.L.C., Tom provides
executive leadership to project teams delivering integrated
design-build services throughout the country. He is responsible for
strategic planning, ongoing customer relationship management and
providing resources and solutions meeting the cost, quality and
schedule requirements of clients.
Tom received a Bachelor of Science in construction engineering
with distinction from Iowa State University and a Master of Business
Administration from the University of St. Thomas. He is a member of
the Design-Build Institute of America; NAIOP, the commercial real
estate development association; and U.S. Green Building Council.
Tom Hoben's Bio
As Vice President and General Counsel, Tom provides legal guidance and advice to all companies and personnel within The Opus Group and oversees the work of outside law firms.
Previously, Tom was a partner with Rider, Bennett, Egan & Arundel, LLP, where he practiced commercial real estate and business law. Prior to that, Tom was vice president of a family-held commercial and residential real estate development company.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and finance from the University of St. Thomas and a Juris Doctorate from the William Mitchell College of Law. Tom is a member of the American Bar Association, the Minnesota Bar Association, the Hennepin County Bar Association and the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks.
Kim Noonan's Bio
As Chief Brand Experience Officer, Kim is accountable for leading and managing the strategies and actions that fuel the end-to-end brand experience Opus delivers clients, partners, associates and communities, through marketing, brand, communications, as well as enterprise strategy development. Focused on growth, she and her team partner with the business, working to ensure every Opus brand interaction is a compelling experience and to optimize business performance by building brand awareness, engagement and advocacy both externally and internally. Additionally, as a member of the executive leadership team Kim contributes to and leads enterprise-wide initiatives.
Kim joined Opus in 2015. She brings over 25 years of insight and experience in business and marketing. Prior to 2015, Kim held senior leadership and strategic marketing or customer experience roles at Polaris Industries, Jostens and MoneyGram International.
Kim earned a Master of Business Administration in marketing and Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. Kim is the process of earning the University of Minnesota Office of Equity & Diversity Certificate. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Opus Foundation. Kim is the co-founder and co-executive sponsor of Opus Women's Network and Diversity Equity & Inclusion Lead & Co-Executive Sponsor.
Operations
Jim Erwin's Bio
As Regional Vice President, Jim is responsible for all construction
operations in Denver and the Western region, including design-build
project management and field operations. He leads a team of project
managers and construction superintendents working on projects across
multiple sectors.
Since joining the organization in 1993, he has assisted in the
development and construction of more than six million square feet.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in construction management from
the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He serves on the board of
directors for the Associated General Contractors of Colorado and is a
member of NAIOP, the Design-Build Institute of America, the Arizona
Builders Alliance, the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and Access Denver.
