Guardian Security Services, LLC

Guardian Security Services opened in October 2001 by Jesse Pineda, a now retired San Antonio Police Officer with 33 years of service.  His son, Joseph Pineda assisted in the daily operations of Guardian Security which included client and employee relations.  Joseph Pineda has been a Texas Peace Officer since 2003 and currently has over 10 years of law enforcement experience.  Joseph obtained his first security commission in 1999 and has 15 years of private security experience.

In 2007 ownership of Guardian Security was transferred from Jesse to Joseph.  Joseph continued full security operations and expanded services to include vehicle patrol and investigations.  Guardian Security was very involved in pro-active security enforcement on its client’s properties and maintained a very good working relationship with local law enforcement.  Guardian Security was even featured in a full page article in the September 20-26, 2007 issue of the Conexion newspaper in San Antonio.  Guardian Security provided armed security and off duty peace officers for apartment complexes, neighborhood associations, construction sites, hotels, banquet halls, office parks, retail and short term security at disaster and Haz Mat scenes.  Joseph was an active associate member of the San Antonio Apartment Association and the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.  In July 2010 Joseph Pineda closed Guardian Security Services. 

In April 2014, Joseph Pineda has re-opened Guardian Security Services to provide limited services.
