Our Story

Following an 11 year career as a Project Manager & Chief Estimator for one of the region’s largest Minority General Contractors our Principal, Michael Simms Jr. made a decision. A decision based upon the realization that all projects and their respective Owner’s deserve the highest level of excellence in every facet of the process.  And possessing such a background of personal service and exceeded expectations A NEW DOOR DEVELOPING, LLC. was formed.

With the long-term vision and goal of becoming a multi-national Construction Management firm and Developer we’re well on way to bringing this simple principle to the region with projects in Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia.

Attention to detail, a vast knowledge of the construction industry gained while managing or being a part of the developing phase of over $800 Million worth of projects, a network of the best subcontractors and suppliers in the area and a track record of dedicated service on all projects is the foundation that will take A NEW DOOR DEVELOPING towards its long-term goal.
