Moshier Studio is an Architecture firm located in Pittsburgh and successfully completing projects in Pennsylvania and Maryland. As pioneers in the design of Green and High Performance Buildings we are familiar with the LEED Rating Systems. Our projects include commercial offices, education buildings, classrooms, charter schools, early childhood education, recreational facilities, multi-family housing, affordable housing,community centers, and mixed-use buildings and interiors for commercial, governmental and non-profit clients. We work with both the restoration and adaptive reuse of historic buildings and energy retrofits of existing buildings of all types. Moshier Studio is a Woman Owned Business and is Certified as a Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) in Pennsylvania and Maryland.

Moshier Studio is an architectural firm in the Chateau neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Our partners are Cherie H. Moshier, AIA and Gary P. Moshier, AIA. The present firm was established in 2003 as a successor firm to a sole proprietorship established by Cherie in 1998.

Our clients are interested in high-performance and sustainable work and learning environments, and recognize the value of our hands-on approach.

Most of our clients own, occupy and operate the buildings we design. We guide such owners through a process where stakeholders are heard, and responsible use of funds is demonstrated. This leads to a facility that supports and enhances their mission. By using REVIT Building Information Modeling (BIM) and other visualization and modeling tools to explore our designs so that our clients have the best information possible to make the important decisions that are part of any building project.

Moshier Studio principals are members of AIA Pittsburgh, U.S. Green Building Council, The Green Building Alliance, and the International Passive House Association.
