Our Story

APRO Enterprises, Inc. was incorporated in early 1993 as a 100% minority owned-and-operated business by Mr. Jong K. Chung, who has 30 years practical experience as an engineer, manager, supervisor and owner in the General Construction, Restoration, Renovation, Asbestos Removal and Lead Paint Abatement Trades, and has successfully completed and participated in federal, state and local government projects as well as private commercial projects in this Washington Metropolitan area. Mr. Jong K. Chung has always been working in the Construction industry since 1983.

APRO has primary philosophy to provide first-grade professional services to our clients with mutually satisfying relationship and better-cost efficient management. Since its business started, APRO has been awarded and successfully completed numerous general constructions, restoration, renovation, lead abatement and asbestos removal projects for federal and local government projects as a prime or subcontractor. Virtually most of APRO’s work has been for federal government agencies, as such all contracts have been strictly regulated by plans and specifications closely monitored though an inspection process including daily inspection on site and overall engineers’ review.

In spring 1995, APRO was certified as a minority owned and operated small business by U.S. Small Business Administration, under its 8 (a) Program and successfully graduated the program in 2004. And now, APRO obtain a surety bond over one million dollars on single jobs, and two million dollars on combined jobs. Under the direction and daily operation of Mr. Jong K. Chung, APRO maintained significant growth every year and created an outstanding reputation among the demolition, concrete and HAZMAT abatement industry peers for quality performance. As APRO’s project managers and field supervisors, all our staff offers the company and its clients’ benefits of their personal experience on each projects without quality compromise.
