      Emmerson-Bailey Started Off With Jim Emmerson And Pete Morgan Back In 1974 As Emmerson-Morgan Construction.  I'M Rob Bailey, And I Started In Construction In 1989 And Joined Emmerson-Morgan Ten Years Later.  In January Of 2012, Pete Morgan Decided It Was Time For Me To Take Over His Position, And He Mine.  So With Nothing More Then A Name Change, The Company Is Now Emmerson-Bailey Construction.

        Jim, Pete And I Have Lived In The Pacific City, Neskowin Area For Over 40 Years And Are Well Know In Our Community.  We Understand And Communicate Well With Each Other And Our Customers, But Most Importantly We Love What We Do, And That Makes This Job Easy.

       I Guess You Could Call Us "Old School" Compared To Some Of Today'S Building "Techniques".  You Won'T Hear The Thunder Of Nail Guns Or Hear The Truck Loads Of Laborers Coming And Going.  We Still Hand Nail All Of Our Framing With Hot Dipped Galvanizednails, And We Select The Best Kiln Dried Lumber Available.  We Complete Every Step Of The Project Ourselves, Including Building Our Own Custom Cabinets For Every Home.  We Subcontract Only The Non-Structural Phases Of The Project (Plumbing, Electrical, Sheetrock, Paint, Etc.) To Our Selected, Local Subcontractors, Which Each Of Whom We Have Established Excellent Relationships With Over Many Years.  We Work One-On-One With The Customer/Architect, Throughout The Project, Maintaining A Clear Understanding Of What Is Expected By Everyone Involved.  We Earn Our Client'S Trust By Offering Full Disclosure Billing.  That Means, We Give Them A Copy Of Every Dollar Spent On The Job At Each Billing Cycle.  This Allows Our Customers To See Exactly Where Their Money Is Going.  We Also Provide A Detailed Progress Report Which Is A Spreadsheet That Reflects All Job-Related Costs Based On Our Original Estimate.

        As The Old Saying Goes "Good Things Take Time".  We Believe That To Be True.  We May Take A Little Longer Than Other Builders, Typically One House A Year, But As Any Of Our Customers Will Tell You, The Result Is Worth The Wait.  You Will Not Find A Company That Will Put More Care Into The Construction Of Your Home, And Will Find No Finer End Product Then Those We Deliver.
