Our Story

American Southwest Electric was established in 1993, by James F. Thomson, Jr., Master Electrician.  ASE is an electrical contractor, civil contractor, and maintenance contractor, working as prime or subcontractor in Nevada, Arizona, and Louisiana.

Our specialties include, but are not limited to electrical power distribution, communication duct bank installation, LEDlighting retrofits, lightning protection, lighting control systems, high mast lighting, primary power systems and transformer installation, and medium power systems. We also construct levees, sewage and treatment pond rehabilitation, concrete foundations and placement, and gate system construction and control, including wrought iron and fencing.

Our work is performed mainly in government and municipal installations such as prisons, secure government bases, federal and state owned buildings and universities.

We currently have 65 Employees.
