Duran Construction

Duran Construction was established in 1992 by Gil Duran. He started the business out of his home with just his personal pickup truck and tools. He began with small, short term projects like driveway sealing and patching at local residences and began to build up a reputation from word-of-mouth referrals. As Duran Construction’s reputation grew with residential customers, Gil started to bid on bigger city and county jobs, plus he approached local utilities, school boards and other local organizations for work. Duran Construction’s projects gradually grew in scale and Gil acquired more and more repeat customers. Duran Construction has now been in business for almost 20 years.
Duran Construction specializes in paving, concrete work, grading, chip sealing, roadway construction, and related services for California municipalities, county governments, utilities, educational institutions, businesses, churches, warehouse facilities and residences. We primarily service Northern California in and around Ukiah, Napa and the suburbs of San Francisco. We have performed work for CALTRANS plus a variety of local governments.

Our paving and asphalt work is quite extensive and entails more than just roadways. According to the National Asphalt Pavement Association, “In addition to the construction and maintenance of motorways and trunk roads (major highways), asphalt is also used extensively for rural roads and urban streets, airport runways and taxiways, private roads, parking areas, bridge decks, footways, cycle paths, and sports and play areas.

In addition to asphalt paving projects, we also engage in grading and earthmoving projects, such as the construction of embankments and retaining walls, plus we can install a wide variety of concrete structures, from parking surfaces to utility and drainage pipes to curbs and islands.
