Scope Of Work

Felix Construction was the General Contractor on this 5 MGD Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant project for the Gila River Indian Community in Sacaton, AZ. This plant would treat groundwater from 3 wells for the community members and the Wild Horse Pass Resort and Casino. The Project scope included a combination reverse osmosis treatment/administration building, pretreatment filtration, clean in place facility for the RO units, three RO membrane trains, onsite chemical feed and storage, 0.5 MG steel raw water tank, 0.5 MG steel finished water tank, raw water pump stations, blended water pump station, finished water pump station, concentrate pump station, wastewater pump station, yard piping on the site, well site piping modifications at two remote well sites, a 20-inch PVC raw water pipeline connecting wells 1 and 2 to the treatment plant, a 12-inch PVC raw water pipeline connecting future well site 3 to the treatment plant, an 18-inch PVC finish water pipeline from the treatment plant to well site No.1 water storage tank, 8-inch PVC concentrate force main from the treatment plant to offsite lagoons, 2-inch wastewater force main from the wastewater pump station to an existing 12-inch force main in front of the treatment plant, earthen drainage detention basin, power transformer, site electrical, treatment process electrical, instrumentation and control, integration with SCADA system and site landscaping.
