Oakbrook Builders was founded in 2013 by Darrell Smith, PE and is located in Round Rock, Texas. Darrell has over 30 years of experience in planning, project and construction management as well as 18 years of senior living design-build construction experience. Darrell has held various positions in the construction industry including President / COO, Vice President of Healthcare Construction, Vice President of Development and Operations, and Group Director of Development Services. His expertise from both a contractors’ and owners’ perspective enables Darrell to provide exceptional service and deliver projects on time and on budget to Oakbrook Builder’s clients.

Vice President of Finance, oversees all accounting and finance functions. he has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of construction and is President of the Central Texas CFMA chapter.

Vice President overseeing freestanding construction, has a BS in Architectural Engineering from the University of Texas and is a certified EIT, LEED Green Associate, CQM, and Business Foundations through the University of Texas.
