Skyline Solar of Arizona is a design-build construction firm of solar support structures, specializing in carport structures, covering parking lots and top of parking garages. Formed in 2009, Skyline Solar is a division of Skyline Steel, Inc. which was founded in 1983 as a commercial covered parking company in Arizona. In 1990, Skyline Steel diversified into Division 5 Miscellaneous and Structural Steel Fabrication and Erection. 

Recognizing the increased value & efficiency which solar carport structures bring to a parking facility’s owner, Skyline Steel used its expertise as a covered parking company to springboard into the solar industry in 2002. Eleven years later, Skyline Solar of AZ. is recognized as one of the larger solar contractors with a wide variety of products ranging from carport, canopy, ground mount and ballasted rooftop solutions. We sell our products and services to companies responsible for the installation and commissioning of solar power systems, typically solar integrators, developers and EPC firms. 

Historically, Skyline Solar has installed over 70 Megawatts throughout the US and Hawaii with 23MW installed in 2012 and 18MW in 2013. Skyline Solar based in Gilbert, AZ. operates nationwide, building projects from coast to coast and offshore. We design and build anything from small solar carport systems to utility scale and large commercial projects. Components are built for assembly on site with the company’s own employees, eliminating the potential delays and quality control issues that arise from outsourcing.
