Diamond General Contracting, Inc., the commercial division of Diamond Holdings of SW Florida, was established in 2002 and is owned by David and Dalia Hemed.  David Hemed is a second-generation contractor and 40-year resident of Southwest Florida.  As a graduate of both Naval Nuclear Power School and New York State Regents College, naval veteran David Hemed’s diverse engineering and military background yields 30 + years expertise in multiple areas of construction and contracting.  As a certified general contractor in the state of Florida and the state of Maryland, Diamond General Contracting excels in projects such as new commercial construction, including tenant build outs, design and construction of new multi-family developments, dining establishments, commercial kitchens, remodeling of retail, mixed use and commercial centers, hotels, office and industrial flex space.  Diamond General Contracting offers major overall repairs to existing commercial structures as well as assisting owners with design, engineering and development of new and existing projects.
