Commonwealth Blinds & Shades, Inc. was created in 1996 by Chris Witte. Since its inception, CBS has focused on servicing the needs of the commercial and high-end residential markets. Success in these markets was due in part to the company's relationships with general contractors, property management firms, major universities, hospitals, facility managers, architects, and designers in the mid-Atlantic region. Success is also attributed to quality products and industry knowledge while delivering excellent customer service.
