Our Story

URATA & SONS, SINCE 1974…

In 1974, our founders Charles and Frank Urata formed a small business in South Lake Tahoe, California. They began with $100, an old pickup truck, and the guidance of their Father, Sofio Urata. They worked hard and served the residential customers until 1985 by placing & finishing concrete patios and driveways.

Before long, they had built a business known for honesty, customer satisfaction, and a strong commitment to high quality products. Urata & Sons soon left the residential market and quickly solidified itself in the commercial sector as a diverse union contractor with the best capabilities.

Urata & Sons Concrete is a Member in good standing with the following organizations:

American Subcontractors Association (ASA)
Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA)
Sacramento Area Trade Organization (SACTO)
Real Estate Construction Networking Organization (RECON)

We'll handle any project - large or small - and provide you with the confidence you need to become a repeat customer with us for years to come.
