Scope Of Work

The Carrol A. "Butch" Thomas Educational Support Center includes a stadium, field house and natatorium facilities on an eighty-five acre site. The 10,400 seat stadium consists of precast bleachers, a two-story press box, field maintenance space, restrooms, and concessions. The synthetic field is designed for both soccer and football use. The natatorium and field house are located in one building on the south side of the stadium. This combined facility consists of changing rooms, lockers, showers, restrooms, concessions, trainer's rooms,  pool, spectator and athlete seating, and athletic offices. The UIL competition designed pool has eight lanes with a moveable bulkhead used to divide the pool into completion and warm-up areas. The Project's scope included landscaping, irrigation, site utilities, 2,568 paved parking spaces, bus parking, a detention pond, and a road.
