Our Story
Blackwood Group was founded by Jose A. Duarte, P.E. LEED AP in 2007. Since then Blackwood has maintained consistent growth even through the great recession of 2008. Since that time, Blackwood has proudly and successfully completed a variety of projects throughout the Chicagoland area in the residential, commercial, mixed use, and light industrial/warehousing sectors.
