The Hope Center originally contacted Atchison Heller when they were looking for a residential building contractor to help manage the construction of the Rouse Women’s Center. Atchison Heller managed construction of this women only transitional independent living building that has 44 apartments. Atchison Heller managed construction of their last two buildings on Loudon Avenue, the Don and Cathy Jacobs house, a 154 bed facility that provides transitional housing for men and the Jacobs Cafeteria that provides 450 daily meals to the homeless and those in Hope Center transitional housing. Atchison Heller has built a lasting relationship with the Hope Center to help plan and manage their larger construction projects.
