Milton J. Wood Company — the first of the MJW companies — is a full-service general and mechanical contractor that has been in business since 1969. From a one-man operation primarily serving the pulp and paper industry, we have grown into one of the leading industrial contractors in the Southeast. We hold a range of licenses, including general contracting, mechanical contracting, plumbing, roofing, and underground utilities, in multiple states. We partner with clients in a wide range of industries, from mining and oil companies to aerospace and power generation. Although our geographic base of operations is centered in the Southeast, we successfully support our sister companies, Milton J. Wood Fire Protection and MJW Engineering projects throughout the United States and around the world.
