Scope Of Work

Construction at an existing hospital site requires precise timing and scheduling as well as great attention to detail to maintain safety for patients and visitors inside and outside the facility. 

Congleton-Hacker’s skills in working under an aggressive schedule were evident on this complex, high-tech project, which involved seven major components of the hospital’s Master Facility Plan. The project included a 95,500 square-foot Women’s Hospital, an 18,000 square-foot addition for Cardiac s and Laboratory with an 18,000 square-foot internal , a 9,100 square-foot endoscopy fit-up, a 10,300 square-foot utility plant addition, two overhead interconnecting pedestrian walkways and more than nine acres of new roads and parking lots. 

In addition, all our project managers, project engineers and project superintendents have obtained KSHE Infection Control training.

Firm Role: As construction manager at risk, Congleton-Hacker provided preconstruction s, including conceptual estimating, GMP estimating, constructability analysis, value engineering, fast-track development, macro project scheduling, critical path scheduling, bid package definition and management of owner-purchased materials for sales tax savings.
