Ben has more than 35 years of experience in General Contracting and
Construction Development. Upon his Honorable Discharge from the U.S.
Army, Ben attended College to study Construction Management. Ben began
his career in the field as a Carpenter for a well-established union
carpentry company in New York. It wasn’t long before he was promoted
to Senior VP of Operations. A few years later, Ben started his own
construction company and built it into a full-service construction
management/general construction firm in the NY/NJ/CT Tri-State area,
grossing more than $50M annually. Ben currently has offices in New
York as well as in Florida. He has a hands-on approach with Stonegate
Contracting Group and works closely with his employees on the day to
day activities in Florida, while his son Joseph runs the office in New
York. Ben ensures each project is appropriately staffed and
efficiently operated. He monitors the progress of each of the
Superintendents and is a liaison with the trades and Building
Department. During his thirty plus year career, Ben has built hundreds
of retail stores, restaurants, hotels, medical facilities, movie
theaters, industrial buildings, pharmacy’s, schools, shopping centers,
banks and more. Ben and his wife Jennifer have twins, and enjoy
traveling, family and rooting for their hometown Yankees.
