Salvatore Zarrella's Bio
Salvatore Zarrella is the founder of Construction Management Group, LLC. He built his first home at the age of 22 and has nurtured a diverse background with extensive hands-on experience in many of the trades (over 20 years). Salvatore is a skilled millworker and finish carpenter, experienced marble and granite stone fabricator, as well as mechanical systems design knowledge. Salvatore’s valuable drafting skills provide specific instructions to field personnel when shop drawings or details need to be produced quickly.
<p>His model for craftsmanship come from the European “old-world” time tested methods. This knowledge allows him to organize technical aspects of projects that require trade insights so that the jobs will run smoothly and achieve the highest level of quality.
<p>He takes great pride and enjoyment in estimating, budgeting, and scheduling projects using the systems and programs that he has developed over many years. These systems have led to consistently proven success in budgeting, tracking, and reporting to clients with unmatched transparency and accuracy, making these essential areas efficient and easy to read for the client.
<p>In 2011, Mr. Zarrella completed Passive House consultant training under the Passive House Institute (PHI) administered by Passive House Institute US (PHIUS). He has since become a strong advocate for high performance commercial and residential buildings that consume little to no energy.

Alonso Florez's Bio
Alonso Florez is one of CMG’s Project Manager and only master Craftsman, possessing an incomparable gift for mill work, cabinet making and furniture building of any kind. Having worked in the construction industry for the last 27 years he has offered his expertise to clients throughout Fairfield County, Manhattan and South America, alike.
Originally from beautiful Colombia, he lent his services to several industries in the building industry. Working as a consultant in the areas of design management, finishes, and building development; he received a degree in Industrial Engineering shortly before he moved to the U.S. Once settle into life in the states, he dedicated more than a decade to his craft in Brooklyn, NY as a Project Manager and Developer expanding his experience and sharing his gifts with clients all over the 4 burrows. Eventually opening his own firm, for the last 15 years he has dedicated his artistic skills and management catering to the high-end building niche by delivering custom works of exotic wood species and finishes.
He joins CMG with a keen eye for detail, a no-nonsense managerial approach and work ethic next to none. He currently lives with his family in Norwalk, CT.
Bethany Richards's Bio
Bethany Richards is our wonderful Office Manager who joined Construction Management Group in 2011. She is an invaluable member of the CMG team, and manages all aspects of our office. Bethany works closely with all our construction and client partners ensuring all paperwork is in order including contracts, insurance certificates, and the coding of invoices. She is our QuickBooks expert and enters all expense data, helps with our project budgets, and, most importantly, pays our bills on time! Additionally, Bethany assists with the preparation of bid packages, sending out RFP’s, and evaluating subcontractor bids. She is a graduate of Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, MI where she studied Accounting and Business Administration. In her spare time, Bethany loves theatre, performing arts and stage managing for local community theater groups.
Gary Valentino's Bio
Gary Valentino is our Operations Manager responsible for day-to-day operations in the field and in the office. Gary orchestrates the bid proposal process from requests through contract, responds to RFI’s, and manages the firms Plan Room modification and upkeep. Relationship building is one of Gary’s strengths and with each vendor communication, he further ingratiates himself and CMG into the industry and building community.
Internally, Gary is the master keeper of our blueprints, plans, drawings and permits as they relate to each property. Continually communicating addendums and change orders into the field to sub-contractors and vendors as they arise, he is an intricate part of keeping each project moving at a successful and steady pace. Managing all material orders, scheduling of deliveries and subsequent site logistics alongside the Project Managers and Site Supervisors, his is able to offer invaluable direction and management to our entire team, creating an invaluable cohesive component in our building process.
