Scope Of Work
Quandel provided construction management services for the Township of Derry Municipal Complex in Hershey, PA. The campus-like project involved a hybrid of new construction and adaptive renovations to existing Milton Hershey School structures.
An existing barn was renovated into the new Township Tax Office, while two former student houses were transformed into the Township Administration building and Police building. The new Police building features new holding cells, a state-of-the-art command center, and Emergency Management Room that will be used as the Township Command Center during an emergency.
To create a more efficient, user-friendly facility, all buildings were connected by elevated walkways, including the existing Springdale and Union buildings.
