Our Story

We have met the telecommunications needs of businesses in the Bay Area for over 20 years. J&K Communications offers custom voice and data networking solutions and business phone systems at highly competitive rates. Our most valued skill is installing cable in places that are difficult to access.

J&K Communications has a low voltage C-7 license #757041, and we're fully bonded and insured. We are California Small Business Certified (#1755372) and certified as an SLEB with the Alameda County Transportation Commission.

?We accept all major credit cards.

Kevin Phillips
Founder

Kevin, our owner and founder, is a seasoned telecommunications guru. He is a pro at designing voice and data networks, and he has a knack for finding solutions to complex telecom situations.  He has advanced post-secondary technical training and certification in data and voice communication systems. Kevin loves motorcycles and traveling; his adventures included spending a year in Europe in a small pop-up trailer. He founded J&K Communications in 2006 alongside his wife Jennifer.

Jennifer Phillips
Co-Founder & Chief Operations Officer

Jennifer is a co-founder and Chief Operations Officer of J&K Communications. She handles invoicing, proposals, insurance, and all administrative questions. Jennifer comes from the non-profit world and is a dedicated volunteer. Each week, she spends a day stacking cans and sorting vegetables at the Alameda Food Bank.
