Scope Of Work
The Goldenberg Ziman Center was developed integrating new design concepts based upon extensive research about Alzheimer’s disease. The award winning, 96-bed long-term senior care facility is designed in circular, connected clusters, around a central hub with the atmosphere of a village square. A pitched roof features skylights that, along with the oversized windows, enable natural sunlight to stream into the building, helping patients respond to their body’s circadian rhythms. Both floors have nursing stations and dining rooms. Soothing lighting and a centralized courtyard with meandering walks and landscape cater to the special needs of the Alzheimer patients. A sophisticated security system is integrated throughout the building and grounds to ensure patients remain within the safety of the Center.
