Stephen D. Prater Builders, Inc. was founded in 1995 by the President, Steve Prater. SDP Builders has over 20 years of experience in constructing commercial buildings, real estate development and a wide array of remodeling projects. We have experience with private office buildings, restaurants, and custom residences, but our business is within the construction and renovation of hospitality projects.

Stephen D. Prater Builders, Inc. is a general contracting company that provides full scope delivery of construction services to owners and developers.   We provide construction management and turn key general contracting services to our customers.  We also offer pre-construction services and FFE procurement and scheduling.

We typically contract with our customers through the use of standardized contracts.  We commonly work with the Consensus Documents Suite and AIA formats.

We have operated as a licensed general contractor is several states including: Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia
