Scope Of Work
The renovation of Genesis East’s entire fifth floor included complete flooring replacement, new millwork, paint and wall coverings in the corridors, public areas, and in 31 patient rooms, as well as, plumbing and electrical upgrades throughout. TV’s were also installed in all patient and waiting rooms. Room renovation included three different room “styles:” Labor and Delivery (LDR), Post-Partum, and Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Post-Partum (LDRP). Rooms were completed in multiple phases (two rooms per phase), in order to keep the majority of the rooms in operation during construction. Daily coordination with the owner and nursing staff was required in planning all activities as this was a functioning hospital environment.
