Our Story

Ohio Valley Fire protection, Inc. specializes in the design and installation of fire sprinkler systems.  We have the expertise to install fire sprinkler systems in the most efficient manner at competitive prices.  We actively bid on fully sprinkled buildings (new construction or re-work of existing systems), and limited area sprinkler systems.

Our quality minded staff of salesmen, design engineers, office personnel and installers work hard to continue setting the standard of Quality and Integrity in the fire protection business.   Their commitment to quality, in conjunction with Miller Valentine Construction, Inc., earned the 1995 Award of merit presented by the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. for sprinkler design and installation at the Old Post Office in Dayton, Ohio.  Additionally in 2001, earned the Award of Excellence with Midwest Maintenance for the design/build of the DeVore South building.

Ohio Valley Fire Protection, Inc. operates as an open shop contractor.  In addition to sprinkler design and installation, we are licensed to perform annual inspections on wet and dry fire sprinkler systems.

Ohio Valley Sprinkler Inspections is the service, maintenance, inspection and repair division of Ohio Valley Fire Protection.

Started in 2000, Ohio Valley Fire Protection saw the need to branch out from the design and installation part of the business to provide its customers with a company that could perform all the necessary requirements needed to maintain a fire protection system.

We perform quarterly, semi-annual and annual testing of all types of wet and dry sprinkler systems and fire pumps, along with recertification of fire protection and domestic backflow preventive devices, also the repair and maintenance of all systems commercial and residential.

We have 24 hour "ON CALL" service technicians for all after hour's emergency services and repairs.

In 2004, O.V.S.I. branched out further by purchasing Minor Fire Extinguisher Co. formally in Middletown, Ohio.
With the acquisition of Minor, O.V.S.I. now has the ability to take care  of all your fire extinguisher needs, from new sales, service and installation, to inspections and service of your existing fire extinguishers and exit lighting.

All of our technicians are state certified, quality minded and dedicated to customer service and satisfaction.

For ALL your fire protection needs call O.V.S.I.
