Our company is based on the belief that our customers needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs. My Own Plumbing Co. is a family oriented business.  

Leo Gordon Jr., Master Plumber has 35 years of plumbing & heating experience. He has passed that experience to his sons who have assumed roles as project foreman and field supervisor. His wife and daughter are in the office, and those employees that are not family are still considered part of the family!

Leo started his plumbing careerlearning the trade as a young childworking alongside his Dad inBrooklyn, New York.  His first apprentice job at the young age of 16 years, was working for a plumbing & heating company where he learned skills from some of the best old school plumbers in the industry.  From there, he joined the NYC Plumbers Local Union #1 and worked in many phases of plumbing. His work included residential, commercial and industrial plumbing throughout NYC. His craftsmanship can be seen in many well known NYC locations including; JFK Airport, Shea Stadium, Arthur Ash Tennis Stadium, Metropolitan Opera House, Lincoln Center, NYC Public Schools,The Brooklyn Navy Yard, the famous "Russo's On The Bay" Restaurant, Saint Vincents Medical Center, Staten Island University Hospital, and many others, as well as extensive residential locations throughout all 5 boroughs and New Jersey

Leo decided to branch out on his own in the early 1990's.  One of his proudest accomplishments was working under the auspices of the Department of Environmental Protection Agency.  implementing the installation of approximately 100 low consumption toilets and shower heads per day for three years in private homes and multi family dwellings throughout the five boroughs. Under Leo's direction, crews were able to install a high volume of plumbing without ever compromising quality and integrity.The project was very successful, thereby conserving a lot of water and energy for the city.  Now that's GREEN!!!

Leo has come to realize his dream of living and working in Florida.  Bringing his skills with him, he is currently a State Certified Florida Plumbing Contractor, Certified Backflow Tester and  ESCO Institute EPA Approved Universal Technician  and the proud owner of My Own Plumbing Co.. He is also proud of passing on his trade to his two sons, with a third son in training!

My Own Plumbing Co.has recently accomplished the completion of the renovation and new addition of a Guest Tower, consisting of 24 rooms at the RITZ CARLTON, PALM BEACH. 

Leo's experience and skills with high end projects has enabled him to handle the unique design and high end finishes which added to the complexity of the project. "Experience has helped us work effectively with schedules, coordination with other trades, designers and suppliers; and most importantly completion of the project on time."

My Own Plumbing Co.has also recently completed numerous newly constructed high end homes.  We have hundreds of individual service calls for many different jobs such as bathroomand kitchen renovations, backflow servicing and certification, piping repairs and emergency sewer service calls.Our resume also includes servicing several hospitals and many community developments.
