Amy Alcorn is a Certified Public Accountant with 17 years’ experience in the accounting field. Prior to starting Alcorn Construction, Ms. Alcorn spent 9 years in public accounting with an emphasis on taxation planning and compliance for clients in manufacturing, retail, real estate development and construction industries.

Having a CPA as an owner is a huge advantage for Alcorn Construction. Amy’s experience insures conservative financial management, including compliance with accounting rules and regulations, subcontractor payment and lien management, cash flow, and banking relationships.

Chris Alcorn, LEED AP, is a Design-Build professional with national general contractor/developer experience. Chris’ resume includes the successful completion of more than 7 million sf of new, remodel, and tenant finish space. Chris founded Alcorn Construction in 2008 with his wife, Amy, and since then has built it into a construction company with regional significance in the office, industrial, and retail markets. Prior to starting Alcorn Construction, Chris was VP/General Manager of the Rocky Mountain regional office of Panattoni Construction.

Mile High Business Center: Redevelopment of the former Samsonite Campus near I-70 and Havana into an industrial park, including conceptual estimating to assist purchase, design, and construction of the first 700,000 sf of buildings.

Harvest Junction: Development of a 100 acre parcel into a retail power center in Longmont, Colorado including conceptual estimating, due diligence, entitlement, and construction of the center, which includes Lowes, Dick’s, Best Buy, Ross, and Panera Bread. This project required directional boring of utilities under the existing Hwy. 119.

Michelle has 20 years’ experience as a Business Development Executive in the construction and professional services industries. Her role at Alcorn Construction includes proactively developing and maintaining relationships with clients so that we can be of greatest service to them, and sourcing quality construction projects for Alcorn and our developer, owner, tenant, project management, architect, and broker partners. Michelle maintains contact with customers and project team members throughout projects to ensure that what was promised is what is being delivered. Prior to joining Alcorn Construction, Michelle developed relationships within highly technical markets, including the Pharmaceutical and Mission Critical Industries by building a reputation of integrity, knowledge and accountability. Her experience in highly technical industries, along with her ability to attract and retain loyal clients are some of Michelle’s greatest strengths.
