David Coil's Bio
After working as a company field laborer and an assistant project manager, David joined Coil full time in 2007 after graduating from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. David earned his master’s of business administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia’s execMBA program. Now in a management role, David serves as construction manager of special projects and as the director of Facilities Management. His field training provided an excellent foundation for his work in managing Coil’s safety program and field operations. David is a member of the American Concrete Institute and is certified as a LEED Green Associate by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI). He also is a board member of Woodhaven and the Columbia Chamber of Commerce Transportation Committee, and serves as president of the execMBA Alumni Association.

With his years of experience as a draftsman for a large St. Louis architectural firm and his work as a local general contractor, Mike brings a diversified background to Coil Construction that gives him a unique perspective on design/ build projects. After completing his engineering degree at Kansas State University, Mike joined the Coil team as a project manager in 1993, and became vice president in 1998. Mike has been instrumental in initiating business development and corporate clients, and with his 30 years of experience he continues to provide support to the management staff in design/build projects. He is a member of the Columbia South Rotary, an advisory committee member of the Columbia Public School’s Career Center Construction and Contracting Program, and a board member of Taking the Mountains Community Service.

Randy Coil's Bio
Randy Coil believes that when you’re a Coil client, you’re part of the Coil team. Since 1975, when he founded Coil Construction as a small remodeling and construction company, Randy has served as an advocate for his clients. A graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, Randy is involved in every aspect of the company and is committed to delivering service to clients. During his more than 40 years in the construction business, Randy has stayed true to his commitment to not only build quality buildings, but to build a better community as a whole. He is a past president of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce and is involved in several community organizations.

Adam Rose's Bio

Civil Engineering
A native of St. Louis, Adam joined Coil Construction in 2021 after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia. As a part of Coil’s regional operations team, Adam’s role includes assisting with the city permitting process and helping with project subcontractors and bids. Prior to joining the Coil team, Adam worked as a design engineer intern with the Farnsworth Group in St. Louis, working on oil and gas consulting, and as a project engineer intern for McCarthy Building Companies in Kansas City, where he worked on a public wastewater treatment project. Outside of Coil, Adam volunteers with Columbia KLIFE youth ministry and enjoys hiking, playing sports and reading.

Cody Logsdon's Bio

Management
Cody Logsdon grew up working construction and carpentry work with his father, and joined Coil in 2012 as a project manager. He is responsible for everything from CAD work to plan review through the design-build process. Cody’s experience as a field superintendent means that he can sometimes be found running the day-to- day on-site operations on projects if he needs to lend a hand. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural systems management and a minor in agricultural economics. Throughout school at MU, he worked for Stickman Woodworks as a custom furniture and cabinet builder.

Don Prose's Bio

Engineering
Don Prose joined the Coil team in 2011 as a project manager and has overseen projects for both new construction and remodels, overseeing projects from conceptual design through their successful completion. Don earned his Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification in 2020 and his Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation in 2021. He appreciates being involved as an extension of clients’ work by providing a new building or renovated space that allows organizations to grow their operations and to be more effective in achieving their mission. Don graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He previously worked as a project manager for a St. Louis construction firm.

Greg Chillion's Bio
Greg is a native of Lewistown, Missouri, who joined the Coil team as a project manager in 2021. Greg spent five years in the United States Navy as a staff intelligence analyst. Following his service, he worked as a project engineer for a heavy civil construction company in Washington, where his responsibilities included design/build estimating and general contracting. At Coil, Greg’s project manager duties include working on estimates and assisting project managers on larger projects to get things off the ground. Outside of work, Greg enjoys all outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing and hiking.

Jordan Grisham's Bio
Jordan Grisham joined the Coil team in 2021 as a project manager working on regional operations. Jordan is a licensed electrician who previously worked as a commercial electrician in Kansas City, as a foreman for an electric company in Denver and at a marina at the Lake of the Ozarks, where he grew up. At Coil, Jordan provides field support for the team during all stages of the construction process, from pre-planning and permitting to scheduling. He also handles any warranty work after a project is completed. Outside of Coil, Jordan enjoys water sports and spending time outdoors, and during football season you can find him supporting the Kansas City Chiefs.

Karin Martin's Bio

Karin Martin has been a key member of the Coil team since joining the company in 1985, helping to maintain the accountability that is at the core of Coil’s business practices. Karin is involved in many aspects of the company and is known for her great relationships with vendors. Her duties include processing accounts payable and receivable, lien releases, payroll, insurance processing and job cost reporting. She also issues certificates of insurance and bonding and is responsible for risk management and workers comp. Outside of her work at Coil, Karin serves as treasurer for the Red Rock United Methodist Church and is a chairperson of the Mid-State United Methodist Building Board. She is an active member of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) and Boy Scouts Troop #725.

Katie Partise joined the Coil team in 2014 as an assistant project manager and takes pride in building things that matter to people in our community. Her responsibilities include document management and AutoCAD review and design. Katie holds both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Prior to becoming part of the Coil team, Katie served as a product engineer for Nanova Biomaterials, Inc.

Kevin Buckler's Bio
Kevin began working for Coil Construction in 1979 as a carpenter and ironworker. His work over the years has given him extensive eld experience, providing him with an excellent foundation for directing the everyday operations of the rm. He oversees cost estimating for the majority of Coil’s larger projects and offers supervision to project managers on their estimating and scheduling tasks. Additionally, Kevin has initiated and coordinated a very successful safety program. Coil Construction has bene ted with an excellent safety record, resulting with an AGC safety award. His professional and intuitive management style has played a major role in the growth and integrity of Coil Construction.

Technology
Kevin Harvey joined the Coil team in 2020 as a senior project manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology from Lincoln University. Kevin is no stranger to the construction industry, having grown up around his father’s heavy equipment and welding business. His variety of past construction experience includes working in the field as well as in project management and in civil construction. Kevin’s responsibilities at Coil include managing projects and using his site and utilities experience to help the team. In addition to his work at Coil, Kevin serves on the advisory council for the State Technical College of Missouri and is active with the Knights of Columbus. Kevin also enjoys spending time with his family and working on home improvement projects.

Nick Timberlake's Bio

Engineering
Born and raised in Columbia, Nick moved to Arkansas to attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where he earned his degree in civil engineering. Nick’s background in civil engineering has given him the opportunity to work with land owners and city planners in the design and permitting of new developments. As a licensed professional engineer in the state of Missouri, Nick has extensive experience designing site plans, storm water management systems and other infrastructure needs. Outside of his work at Coil, Nick enjoys traveling, scuba diving, spear fishing, hunting water fowl, and, closer to home, cheering on the Mizzou Tigers.

Ron is passionate about commercial construction. After 26 years of service as an officer with the Columbia Police Department, he decided to move to the construction industry. Ron then worked as a project manager for a construction firm, where he focused on commercial projects. His skills honed as a police officer assist him in working with various city departments, where he navigates local building requirements. In addition, he previously owned a security business and is knowledgeable about office security systems. Outside of his work at Coil, Ron enjoys outdoor sports and backpacking.

A native of California, Steve Torres joined Coil Construction in March 2020. As project executive, Steve serves as an owner’s advocate and representative, coordinating design efforts, developing plans, and managing project budgets. Steve also oversees project schedules and ensures Coil Construction’s clients receive the best experience possible throughout a project’s duration. Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University-Fresno. His experience spans a wide range of health care, hospitality, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, microelectronics and commercial projects. In addition, he has been a business owner of a construction management firm, serving a variety of clients in a full-service capacity. Steve has been married to his wife, Barbara, for 40 years and credits her as the key to his success. Their move to Missouri brings them closer to their son and his family, including two granddaughters.

Bridget Ogden joined the Coil team in 2014 and is usually the first person you see when you enter the Coil offices. Bridget is responsible for administrative tasks and keeps track of the Coil team. She also serves as contract administrator for a busy project list of facilities ranging from retail, professional, industrial, institutional, Greek and healthcare. Previously she worked for a nonprofit specializing in water and wastewater training.

Craig Riordan's Bio

Craig Riordan joined the Coil team in 2021 after a 14-year career in the banking industry. Craig’s prior experience includes 12 years as a commercial lender, most recently at Providence Bank. His banking experience and background allow Craig to develop business relationships at Coil, working with clients on the pre-construction process to help them understand construction possibilities, including design, cost estimates, engineering work and site development. Craig is currently the treasurer and board member for First Chance for Children, and previously served on the board of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri. Outside of Coil, Craig is actively involved with his church, The Crossing, and coaches Daniel Boone Little League baseball and Upward Basketball. He also enjoys traveling and spending time on the Katy Trail with his family.

Barry Dennison's Bio

Barry joined the Coil team in 2018 as Director of Facilities. Barry is responsible for managing the day to day functions of the Facilities Management division of Coil. He also drafts proposals for maintenance and construction activities. Prior to joining the Coil team, Barry served as the facilities manager for the Boone Medical Group South. Barry also spent nearly 30 years in various positions for the State of Missouri, including tenant services manager, facilities director and office services coordinator. He is retired from the U.S. Navy & Reserves where he was a senior chief petty officer.
I have been blessed with my career paths, but working for Coil Construction is the icing on the cake. I am proud to be called a part of the Coil Construction family.

Jen Barb serves as office manager for Coil’s Facilities Management division and works to coordinate the facility managers, intake job requests and prepare bids. Jen enjoys assisting building owners and managers in helping their businesses operate smoothly by providing a quick, professional response to their facilities and maintenance needs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in hotel/restaurant management from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Megan Casady's Bio
Megan Casady joined the Coil team in March 2020 as a project administrator. As a Columbia native, she is excited to be involved with a company that is such an integral part of the community. Megan works on a variety of administrative duties, from finding quality subcontractors to keeping up with changes throughout the project to receiving and accounting invoices for regional operations. Her prior experience includes serving as an accounting specialist with accounts payable and receivable duties. Outside of her work at Coil, Megan enjoys spending time exploring and finding new adventures with her husband and two children.
