Chuck Goodrich serves as the president of Gaylor Electric, Inc., one of the largest merit electrical companies in the Midwest. Gaylor is an award-winning electrical design-build contractor, which operates 13 offices in seven states across the U.S., including five Indiana locations.

Mr. Goodrich began his career with Gaylor Electric in 1991 as an intern and subsequently moved up the ranks to a variety of key leadership positions within the company, including executive vice president. Mr. Goodrich is a proven leader and inspires his staff with his high-energy/high-performance business style.

A leader in the business community, Mr. Goodrich serves on the board of directors for National Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC); is chairman of the Riverview Health Foundation and chair-elect of the Purdue Construction Advisory Board for Building Construction Management; and actively works with Workforce Development. Mr. Goodrich is a professional member of the National Honor Society for Construction, Metro Indianapolis Coalition for Construction Safety, Design-Build Institute of America and the Purdue Alumni Association.

Mr. Goodrich has been recognized for his professional leadership and philanthropic passion by winning the James J. Leonard Memorial Award; Business Person of the Year, City of Noblesville; the ABC Outstanding Chapter Support Award; and the Gaylor Optimist Award. Mr. Goodrich is a graduate of Purdue University, B.S. in building construction/contracting, and Clemson University: Project Management Academy and he received an A.S. architectural drafting degree from Vincennes University.

Mr. Goodrich lives in Noblesville, Indiana, with his wife, Tricia, and their four children. The family is very active in the community and members of the White River Christian Church in Noblesville. Mr. Goodrich participates in the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce and All Pro Dads. His favorite things to do during his free time are spending quality time with his wife and kids, playing golf, and rooting for the Indianapolis Colts and Purdue Boilermakers.

Serving Gaylor Electric, Inc. as CFO, Jim Crews is leading the Company financially toward its vision by developing personnel, systems and infrastructure to effectively manage this dynamic organization.  Jim’s 30+ years of experiences is in a variety of industries both as President and CFO.  Jim has a B.S. in Accounting from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University and is a member of both national and state CPA organizations.  He is a member of the CFO roundtable and former member of YPO.  He also serves on various boards of directors of both private and civic organizations.

Justin, a 2002 Purdue University School of Building Construction Management graduate, began working for Gaylor Electric shortly after graduation.  From the first day here, Justin demonstrated a desire to learn, develop and grow his professional career.  Over his first 10 years, Justin was based out of Indianapolis but traveled around the country working on many of Gaylor’s largest projects.  His experience and responsibilities have continued on an upward trajectory from project manager to location manager to Vice-President and now Executive Vice President.  Over the past 15 years, Justin has always maintained the Gaylor values and standards throughout all his roles and continues to lead enthusiastically by example.

Since 2012, Justin has managed our Carolinas location helping to develop a team-minded attitude and working with that great group of people.  As a newly appointed Executive Vice President, Justin will continue to use his talents to the fullest extent providing leadership and support to our locations in the southern portion of the country.

Rob joined Gaylor Electric in 2009, after merging his family owned electrical business, Griffith Group, Inc., with Gaylor. As Vice President, Rob has focused his attention on helping team members achieve their goals by providing them with the tools, education, and support necessary to succeed. His greatest personal motivator is seeing those around him reach their fullest potential, both personally and professionally. 

From the very beginning, ABC played a strong role in Rob’s professional life. He takes pride in supporting a philosophy that encourages open competition, and awards individuals on their personal merit. Today, Rob serves ABC as the active chairman of the ABC Indiana/Kentucky Apprenticeship Trustees – helping to further the merit shop cause through education. As a dedicated ABC member and leader, Rob’s diverse professional experience and industry passion directly influences over 1,000 young apprentices annually. In his new role as Executive VP, Rob will continue to focus his efforts on the development of our industry’s workforce and provide Gaylor Electric with forward thinking leadership.

As leader of the Alabama office and an operational leader in the southeast, Vance believes in the core values of Gaylor Electric.  Vance’s goal is to coach his team members to perform at the highest level.  From the first budget on the project through the final punch list, Vance uses his talents and experience to ensure customer satisfaction.  Vance and his team believe that integrity is the core foundation to building long lasting business relationships.  Vance graduated from Auburn University in 1991 with his Bachelor of Science in Building Construction. Since then, Vance’s 25 years of construction experience has allowed him to work on most every different type of projects across the nation.  He has worked as both a General Contractor and a Subcontractor which gives him a unique understanding and view of the construction process.

As Vice President of Engineering and Business Services for Gaylor Electric, Jeff is responsible for the leadership of our virtual design center, pre-construction services, fabrication, and all-around project delivery. His nearly 30 years of large project experience has equipped Jeff with a thorough understanding of project delivery and performance, and is able to provide unique insight and value-driven approach for Gaylor Electric projects. As a Gaylor Electric leader, Jeff is recognized for his team-oriented qualities of integrity, superior work ethic and history of cultivating excellent client relationships.
