Smith began his career at D.F. Pray in 1986, working his way up to the position of Senior Vice President of Special Projects. His understanding and involvement with local and state licensing requirements has helped to grow D.F. Pray's reputation as an experienced national general contractor. Smith holds and maintains licenses in 39 states. A LEED accredited professional, Smith is responsible for overseeing D.F. Pray's many energy conservation and green initiatives.

DeThomas joined D.F. Pray in 2012 as Manager of Strategic Projects and Planning, responsible for the creation of D.F. Pray's strategic plan and the implementation of new D.F. Pray startup ventures. In this role, he expanded D.F. Pray's Higher Education Platform by implementing a building program that was utilized at five community college projects throughout New England and Ohio. An experienced motivator with a passion for inspiring and training people, DeThomas has been promoted to Vice President.

A longtime employee of D.F. Pray, Burke brings three decades of experience in all facets of the firm, including estimating, business development, and construction operations, with a focus on large projects. He has helped to grow D.F. Pray's business and establish long-lasting relationships with the firm's largest clients nationwide. Some of Burke's national clients include CVS, Titleist, Chic-fil-A, Atria, and Thermo Fisher Scientific.

As CIO for D.F. Pray, Phil is responsible for all technology across the entire company, which includes the operation and training of all software, computer and communication systems. Phil brings a unique perspective to construction and technology by having served 25 years as a Steelworker in the US Navy Seabees. As a technology professional he understands the challenges of field operations and utilizes his strengths in managing and coordinating technology aspects of a project has proven to be a valuable asset to the D.F. Pray team.

Ronald is D.F. Pray's Senior Vice President of Corporate Operations Management, focusing on safety and health. Laprise is responsible for managing, implementing, and promoting D.F. Pray's Safety and Health Program to all field operations and corporate staff.

Scott Pray's lineage in the D.F. Pray tradition, traces back to the company's founding, when his father, C. Edward Pray and his partners, founded the company in 1959. He was first initiated to the industry as an apprentice carpenter in 1974, working his way through the field ranks as lead man, foreman, superintendent, and project manager. In 1982, Scott left Bentley College due to a family illness (uncle Charlie Dermody, the 'D' in D.F. Pray), and joined the management staff as a Sales Representative for CT and RI. In 1985, he was promoted to Vice President of Operations and subsequently, as Executive Vice President of Sales in 1986. In 1987, Scott succeeded his father as President of D.F. Pray, continuing a tradition of quality field operations. A devoted philanthropist, Pray is passionate about expending his time and energy on causes that mean the most to him, through the Pray Family Foundation.

Jared joined D.F. Pray in 2014, as the Vice President of Finance. Jared is responsible for managing the financial operations of the company. Jared is intimately involved in financial planning, budgeting and reporting to the CEO and the Vice Presidents of the company. His construction experience is well diversified, ranging from small residential projects in the early onset of his to career and extending to large commercial projects, while employed for one the major general contractors in the Northeast.
