Scope Of Work

Scope: Tamales Jovita owner Cecilia Estevez hired APS to provide full service architecture, kitchen design, engineering, and construction services for new restaurant in downtown Escondido focusing in Mexican tamales. The first service we offered Cecilia was a leased space evaluation to be able to provide more in depth cost estimates and schedule for her vision to be accomplished. Our work then involved preparation of plans and permits to install a 10? hood, new gas service, structural modifications, and selection and installation of kitchen equipment package. APS also upgraded the lighting and electrical system in the kitchen, designed and built the Point-of-Sale (POS) counter, modified interior partition walls, installed a new suspended ceiling and other kitchen finishes, and patched the roof. Tamales Jovita uses her grandmother’s authentic recipes and the food is delicious! Come by try a tasty tamale!
